Celebrate the Nebraska Cornhuskers' first Men's Basketball NCAA Tournament Win by pre-ordering this Herbie Husker First Basketball Tournament Win Bobblehead. On March 19, 2026, the Nebraska Cornhuskers men's basketball program shed decades of March Madness heartbreak, picking up the first NCAA Tournament victory in school history with a dominant 76-47 win over Troy in Oklahoma City. The bobblehead features Nebraska’s mascot, Herbie Husker, standing on a basketball court base with a scoreboard behind him that proclaims: “Madness in Lincoln! Cornhuskers Win First Tournament Game! March 19, 2026”.

The fourth-seeded Huskers entered the tournament as the only school from a power conference without a tournament win, carrying an 0-8 all-time record in March Madness. Paycom Center, filled with boisterous red-clad fans who had made the roughly six-hour drive from Lincoln, erupted with chants of "Husker Power!" and "Go Big Red!" throughout the game. With the victory, Nebraska improved to 27-6 on the season, setting a new school record for single-season wins, and for a fan base that had waited 40 years and nine tournament appearances for this moment, it was nothing short of history. The bobblehead is officially licensed by the University of Nebraska.
