This bobblehead commemorates the Buffalo Bills 18-year playoff drought coming to an end in 2017. The Bills previously had the longest active playoff drought among the four major professional North American sports leagues. On December 31st, 2017, the final week of the regular season, the Bills defeated the Dolphins 22–16, but they needed the Cincinnati Bengals to upset the Baltimore Ravens in order to make the playoffs. Down by four with fourth-and-12, Bengals' quarterback Andy Dalton fired a 49-yard touchdown pass to Tyler Boyd with just 44 seconds left to beat the Ravens and send the Bills to the playoffs for the first time since 1999. It was produced exclusively for the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum and is officially licensed by the Buffalo Bills and the NFL.
