These bobbleheads feature legendary college basketball Coach Bob Knight. The bobbleheads, which are the first of Coach Knight available to the general public, were produced in conjunction with Knight Legacy. The first bobblehead features Coach Knight in his signature red sweater and the second bobblehead commemorates the iconic chair-throwing incident.
Coach Knight is most known for his time coaching the Indiana Hoosiers between 1971-2000. He also coached at Texas Tech (2001–2008) and Army (1965–1971). At the time of his retirement in 2008, he won 902 games which was a record at the time. As a head coach, he won three NCAA championships, one NIT championship, and eleven Big Ten Conference championships for Indiana including a 32-0 undefeated season in 1975-1976, which was the last men's team to go undefeated. In 1984, he coached the USA men's Olympic team to a gold medal, becoming one of only three coaches to win the triple crown with an NCAA title, an NIT title, and an Olympic gold medal.
